Back Shop/Outside Services

Job Description

Responsible for all outside functions and member relations, such as cleat changing, golf club cleaning, cart cleaning, range set-up, and bag storage. Responsible for course set up for tournaments and other duties as assigned by the golf professionals.

Skills and Knowledge
Must have exceptional customer service, time management and organizational skills. Previous golf experience is an asset, but not required.

Hours

Must be able to work mid-week, weekends and holidays. Shifts may start as early as 6:00am. Seasonal position.

Golf Shop Clerk

Job Description
Working inside the golf shop, helping Members and guests with purchases, maintaining inventory, booking tee-times and attending to Member service issues. Responsible for operating the P.O.S. system and handling cash and credit transactions.

Skills and Knowledge
Must have exceptional customer service, time management and organizational skills. Previous golf experience is an asset but not required.

Hours

Must be able to work mid-week, weekends and holidays. Shifts may start as early as 6:00am. Seasonal position.

Golf Course Laborers and Equipment Operators

Job Description
Candidates will be involved in many aspects of golf course maintenance operations. We are offering part-time plus hours of 30 to 35 hours per week. Candidates should enjoy working outdoors under various weather conditions. All training is provided on site.

Hours

Must be available to work as early as 5:30 am to noon, Monday through Sunday. Seasonal position.

Locker Steward and Clubhouse Person(s) Required

Job Summary
Will be responsible all housekeeping services for member rooms, public and staff areas in the clubhouse while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics. Will be responsible for the upkeep and organization of laundry/linen room as well as locker steward services and be able to carry out or co-ordinate all clubhouse repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture and building structure.

Essential Functions
Clean all club facilities
Clean soiled linens
Maintain clubhouse equipment

Additional Responsibilities
Dust rooms and furniture
Clean bathrooms and showers
Vacuum carpets and mop floors
Sweep patio area and dust patio furniture
Empty all wastebaskets and ashtrays
Disinfect telephones
Buff floors
Clean and Polish fixtures
Wash windows inside and outside
Shampoo carpets
Manage lighting
Load and Operate washer and dryer
Respond to emergencies at any time
Attend staff meetings
Assist with preparation of special functions
Maintain inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair and related supplies
Conduct plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes, faucets and clogged drains
Perform various duties involving painting, carpentry and electrical.

 


Dining Room Servers

Job Description
To provide a friendly and professional food and beverage experience to our members in the clubhouse and patio dining areas. Responsible for cleanliness of those areas. 

Skills and Knowledge
Must have exceptional customer service, time management and organizational skills. Experience serving in a casual dining environment, Wine Knowledge and Banquet experience is an asset, but not required.  Smart Serve is required.

Hours
Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts will vary based on business levels. Seasonal position.

Beverage Cart Attendants

Job Description
To provide a friendly food and beverage experience to our members on the golf course.

Cooks

Job Description
A line cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.

Skills and knowledge
Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills. Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.  Previous prep or line cook experience an asset.

Hours
Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts may start at 6:30am. Seasonal position.

Dishwasher

Job Description
The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies.

Skills and knowledge
Basic understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures in a kitchen. Experience in a hospitality environment preffered.
