Graham Cooke - Golf Course Architect

One of Canada’s pre-eminent course architects, Graham has designed over 40 exceptional, championship-caliber golf courses across Canada, the United States and Europe. Canadian highlights include the design of the Lynx at Kingswood Park in Fredricton NB - named Golf Digest’s Best New Canadian Course for 2003, the design of Glen Arbour in Nova Scotia - voted the best new course in Canada in 2000, and the design of The Dunes in Kamloops - rated Canada’s best new course for 1997.

As Graham and Jason Miller worked with the OslerBrook founders Graham articulated his vision for the new course as follows:

"The spectacular charm of Georgian Bay and the Niagara Escarpment frame the site of the proposed new OslerBrook golf course. A long high ridge and deep mixed forests accent the property. Panoramic views dominate this special site. The golf course envisioned will capture the charm of the old-world links courses. Working with the special values of the property, the golf course will slowly take shape while respecting the natural environment. The OslerBrook golf course is destined to become one of Canada’s finest, in one of Canada’s sensational landscapes".

"It was especially heartening to hear that you are after a special course of renown. It is my goal to create memorable, first-class courses that can be enjoyed and appreciated by golfers of all skill levels. I enjoy designing courses with a soft links look and character. Golf courses with a links approach present a diverse playing experience from one round to another that a membership never tires of playing."
